Mercy Logistics is a charitable company limited by guarantee, set up in 2009 and registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales in 2013.
Our purpose
Our principal object is the relief of poverty, hardship, sickness and distress across the developing world, by locating and receiving donated goods, resources and materials from donors primarily in the UK, and arranging transport of those items so that local projects can respond to local needs. We also aim to advance education in these areas.
We partner with and support organisations working to fight poverty. We seek donations of appropriate resources from the corporate and public sector that NGOs, charities and voluntary organisations can reuse in their projects, and we aim to provide reduced-cost logistics and transport so those organisations can move goods, equipment and resources more cost-effectively.
Our approach
- Building and developing partnerships with NGOs and charities
- Building and developing partnerships with logistics and shipping companies
- Building and developing partnerships with donors of materials
